Before 91±¬ÁÏÍø: Prior to 91±¬ÁÏÍø, Martinez played four sports at Baytown Christian Academy, including baseball, football, soccer, and golf. He helped lead his baseball team to three district titles in 2002, 2004, and 2005. He was named a three-time All-District performer, a second team All-State player as a junior, and was named to the All-State first team as a senior. As a senior, Martinez hit .649 with four homeruns and 19 stolen bases.
