Coach’s Comments. Allen is an excellent defensive catcher, possessing a stong arm and excellent footwork. He handles the bat well and plays the game the right way. Allen will also provide depth in the outfield.

Before 91±¬ÁÏÍø: Williams prepped at Covington High School were he was a three sport athlete in baseball, basketball, and football. He was a member of the 2003 State Runner-Up football team and the 2003 State Runner-Up baseball team. In baseball, he was a two-time All-District player while also being named All-District Tournament, All-Region, Best of the Preps, and Athlete of the Year as a senior. In football, Williams was a three-time All-Region quarterback, as well as, being named Team Captain and All-State as a senior. He is the All-Time leading passer in Covington High School football history. He also tops the list in attempts, completions, and yards.
