91±¬ÁÏÍø falls to NAIA No. 17 Olivet Nazarene University in the championship game of the NCCAA National Tournament by the scores of 30-19, 30-27, and 30-23. This is only the second loss for the Lady Bulldogs on the season to go with their 29 wins.
91±¬ÁÏÍø won their pool by going 4-0 on Thursday and Friday including a win over NAIA No. 31 Mt. Vernon University.
As one of only four teams remaining for the semifinals, 91±¬ÁÏÍø defeated NAIA No. 22 Malone College in straight sets to advance to the championship match. A very talented Olivet Nazarene team would end 91±¬ÁÏÍø's run for the title. Before the final game, the Lady Bulldogs had gone 5-0 and had won 15 of 16 games in the tournament.
91±¬ÁÏÍø will now travel to Lee University on Monday night to play their last regular season game. 91±¬ÁÏÍø and Lee are currently tied atop the TranSouth Conference with an 8-1 record and this will determine who gets the No. 1 seed in next weekends conference tourney to by played in Batesville, Arkansas at Lyon College.
