May 18 - Decatur, Ala. – In an elimination game at the 22nd Annual NAIA Softball National Championship at Wilson Morgan Park in Decatur, Alabama, third-seeded 91±¬ÁÏÍø (51-6) eliminated No. 6 Columbia College (Mo.) (45-15), 2-0.
91±¬ÁÏÍø scored in the second inning on a single from Leah Gronberg that scored Olivia Craden.Ìý The Lady Bulldogs scored again in the fifth inning.Ìý Two-time All-American Rachel Murray (28-4) pitched the second no-hitter of the tournament, striking out nine and walking three. 91±¬ÁÏÍø will play seventh-seeded Oklahoma Baptist (39-12) at 7 p.m. this evening.
Columbia finishes the season with a 45-15 record. ÌýMonica Mueller suffered the loss for the Cougars, dropping her record to 11-8 for the year.
