91±¬ÁÏÍø left the Lambuth campus with a hard earned road win as the Lady Bulldogs defeated Lambuth 80-77. No. 2 91±¬ÁÏÍø improves to 15-1 overall and Lambuth falls to 5-14 on the season.
The Lady Bulldogs expanded their 40-31 halftime lead to as many as 16 points. However, a late surge by the Lady Eagles got them to within six late in the game. That would be as close as Lambuth would get until a late three pointer cut the final deficit to just three points. 91±¬ÁÏÍø had four players in double figures led by Allison Harrison with 20, Ginger Bryant with 14, Christal Merriweather with 13, and Jessica Henson with 12. Bryant completed her double-double as she recored a game high 14 rebounds. Lambuth also had four player to reach the double figure mark. Dani Howard led the Lady Eagles with 18 points and eight rebounds.
The Lady Bulldogs are in action again on Thursday night as they resume conference play at 5:00 p.m. versus Berry College. 91±¬ÁÏÍø is 2-0 in conference play this season.
