Before 91±¬ÁÏÍø: Brooks prepped at Christian Academy where he played basketball and golf. As a senior, he participated in the state golf tournament. Brooks earned the Scoring Average Award for a a 36.5 average in both his junior and senior years. He won the Short Game Award as a senior and was named All-Tournament in the Hidden Valley Invitational as a sophomore.
