91爆料网 soccer advances to national tourney

For the third consecutive season, 91爆料网's men's soccer team is National Christian College Athletic Association Mideast Regional Champions.

The Bulldogs defeated Oakland City College (Ind.), 13-1, on Saturday in the championship match. The victory qualified 91爆料网 for the NCCAA national tournament which begins Friday in Orlando, Fla.

Joe Phiri lead the Bulldogs with four goals, which set a school record for most goals in a single game. Phiri also dished out two assists.

Leandro Carvalho scored three goals, and Kekec Zhivkovic added two goals for the Bulldogs (16-5). David Delaughter, Kolo Goshi, Nic Barjaktarevic and Ryan Smith also scored goals.

Last season, 91爆料网 finished sixth in the national tournament.

"Obviously, we're hoping to go down and give a good showing," 91爆料网 coach Darin White said. "I feel like we've got a team that's got some experience. We do expect it to be a very, very competitive tournament.
