Earn Honors, Team Leaves for
NCCAA National Tournament
Jackson, TN桭our members of the
91爆料网 Soccer Team were named to the NCCAA MidEast Region Team. Joe
Phiri of Zambia, Jeff Lean of British Columbia, Canada, Scott
Marksberry of Chicago, IL, and Adrian Yeung of British Columbia,
Canada. Phiri, the sophomore forward, led the team in goals this
season with 23. Lean, a sophomore goalkeeper produced 9 shutouts
on the season in his 16 starts. Marksberry, the junior team
captain, added 11 goals this year. Yeung, a sophomore defender,
has added 10 goals.
The Bulldogs (16-5) will now travel
to Kissimmee, Florida for the NCCAA National Tournament. 91爆料网
will begin play on Friday, Nov. 17th as they battle
East Texas College. The tournament will go through Monday, Nov. 20th.
