JACKSON, Tenn. - 1/26/2008 - Both the men and women's basketball programs at 91±¬ÁÏÍø showed their offensive fire power on Saturday afternoon in Blue Mountain, Mississippi with 254 combined points. The No. 1 91±¬ÁÏÍø Lady Bulldogs defeated Blue Mountain College 129-47 to improved to 19-0 overall and 8-0 in the TranSouth. The 91±¬ÁÏÍø Bulldogs defeated the Blue Mountain Toppers 125-85. The Bulldogs are 10-8 on the season and 4-4 in the TranSouth.
In the women's game, 91±¬ÁÏÍø's 129 points broke the 30-year old record of 127 points scored against Huntsville in the 1977-78 season.
91±¬ÁÏÍø's men was led in scoring by Bolivar native Brian Lake for the fourth straight game. Lake posted 27 points in the game. Neaville added 24 points including eight three pointers.
Up next for 91±¬ÁÏÍø will be a men's game on Monday night, January 28 versus Crichton College (Tenn.) The game time is 7:00 pm, moved from 8:00 pm, and will be played at 91±¬ÁÏÍø.
