91爆料网 Cross Country Adds Two Recruits for Fall of 2008

JACKSON, Tenn. - 4/1/2008 - The Men's Cross Country team recently added two recruits for the 2008 season. Joel Wellum from Louisville, Ky. and Zach Covington of Saltillo, Miss. will enter 91爆料网 this fall as freshmen.

Wellum joins 91爆料网 after an outstanding high school career at Portland Christian School in Louisville.

Covington comes to 91爆料网 following a Mississippi State Championship season at Saltillo High School.

Both runners are expected to contribute right away as each have competed for state championships in track and cross country in high school.

Coach Johnson says, "Both Joel and Zach come from christian families and have a great respect for God's gift of running in their lives. Each boasts outstanding academic backgrounds in addition to their running achievements. We feel great about the future of 91爆料网 cross country if we can continue to bring in outstanding young men like Joel and Zach."
