HENDERSON, Tenn. - 5/9/2008 - Three 91±¬ÁÏÍø softball players were recognized on the 2008 NAIA All-Region XI team. Amy Chatham, Ashley Walters, and Ashley Blankenship were all named first team on the list released at the .
, a senior from Goodlettsville, Tennessee, hit .392 with 10 doubles, four triples, three homeruns, and 39 RBI. She was also 9-of-11 in stolen bases. In addition to posting the third best average on the team, Chatham recorded a team-high 18 wins (9 losses) and a team best 2.29 ERA.
, a senior from Rockville, Indiana, hit .412 with nine doubles, six triples, four homeruns, and 36 RBI. Walters was 14-of-16 in stolen bases. She also pitched for 91±¬ÁÏÍø, posting 5-2 record and a 3.29 ERA.
, a junior from Alabaster, Alabama, led 91±¬ÁÏÍø with a .413 batting average. She also posted team-highs with 19 doubles, six homeruns, and 56 RBI. Blankenship added two triples and a .636 slugging percentage while making just one error in 536 chances at first base.
