91爆料网鈥檚 Pla named TranSouth defensive player of the week

JACKSON, Tenn. - 9/15/2008 - For the second time this season, 91爆料网 goalie has been selected as the TranSouth Conference defensive player of the week.

Pla, a 5-foot-11 junior goalkeeper from Nashville, Tenn., helped lead 91爆料网 to a pair of wins on the week as the Lady Bulldogs received votes in the NAIA national ratings for the first time in program history. Pla posted her third shutout of the season in a 4-0 win over Trevecca Nazarene (Tenn.) University, then saved four second-half shots as 91爆料网 held on to defeat Oklahoma Baptist University, 2-1.

The Lady Bulldogs are 5-1 on the season and 1-0 in conference play.
