91爆料网鈥檚 Sims named TranSouth volleyball player of the week

JACKSON, Tenn. - 9/15/2008 - 91爆料网's has been selected as the TranSouth Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Week for the week ending Sept. 14, 2008.

Sims, a 5-foot-11 freshman middle hitter from Trussville, Ala., collected 26 kills and had nine blocks in a 3-0 week for the Bulldogs. The freshman also served 94 percent and earned a .440 kill percentage in 91爆料网's wins over Martin Methodist (Tenn.) College, Lambuth (Tenn.) University and Bethel (Tenn.) College.

On the season, Sims is second on the team with 73 kills and leads the way with 27 blocks.

91爆料网 is 7-2 this season and 3-0 in conference play.
