91爆料网 women's soccer takes Freed-Hardeman 1-0

JACKSON, Tenn. - 9/23/2008 - The 91爆料网 women's soccer team used a late first half goal to take a 1-0 victory over Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) University. The one goal for 91爆料网 was the lone shot out of a total of 32 shots to find the back of the net. 91爆料网 out shot Freed-Hardeman 32-1 in the match.

91爆料网's goal came just one minute before halftime on a shot from Julie Ocampos-Barry, assisted by Jamie Haynes. That proved to be all of the scoring in the contest.

91爆料网 goalie Laura Pla, the TranSouth Defensive Player of the Week for the past two weeks, had an uneventful night as she face no shots on goal from Freed-Hardeman.

Lady Lion goalie, Tiffany Harris, recorded 14 saves as she worked to keep her team in the match.

Up next for 91爆料网 will be another home match on Saturday, September 27 at 6:00 pm versus Belhaven (Miss.) College.
