91爆料网 men's soccer rallies to defeat Freed-Hardeman 2-1

JACKSON, Tenn. - 9/23/2008 - The 91爆料网 men's soccer team trailed for just 30 seconds in their conference match versus Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) University, before rallying for a 2-1 victory. 91爆料网 improved to 4-3-1 on the season and 2-0 in league play. The Lions of Freed-Hardeman dropped to 4-5 overall and 0-2 in the TranSouth.

The Lions opened the scoring with a goal from Travis Shivers in the seventh minute of play. However, just 30 seconds later, 91爆料网's Paul Turner tied the game at 1-1. The score remained knotted at halftime.

91爆料网 stuck with a quick goal, just one minute into second half play to go up 2-1. That goal from Wagner Oliveira proved to be the game winner as 91爆料网 held on for the conference win.

James Landham recorded two saves for 91爆料网, while Alexandre Girodo saved 12 shots for the Lions. 91爆料网 out shot Freed-Hardeman 27-6 in the game, including 15-4 in the shots-on-goal category.

Up next for 91爆料网 will be a home conference match on Saturday, September 27 at 4:00 pm versus Mid-Continent (Ky.) University.
