Top ranked 91爆料网 women cruise in season opener

JACKSON, Tenn. - 10/31/2008 - The No. 1 ranked 91爆料网 Lady Bulldog opened the 2008-09 season with a 95-50 win over Milligan (Tenn.) College. The win was the 23rd straight at home for 91爆料网 and the 57th victory in the past 60 games.

91爆料网 scored first on a basket by Kaitlin Dudley and never looked back. Dudley poured in 20 first half points as she helped 91爆料网 pull away early. Kayla Hudson sank a basket with 40 seconds remaining in the half to put 91爆料网 up 47-26 at the break.

In the second half, Josephine Owino scored 14 of her 16 points to keep the attack going as 91爆料网 stretched their lead to 45 points. Eleven of 91爆料网's 13 players scored in the game, with four players scoring double figures. Two others had nine points in the contest.

Dudley led all scorers with 26 points, including 4-of-7 three pointers. Owino scored 16 points in just 14 minutes of play. Merideth Richardson added 12 points, while Zeinab Chan scored 10 points. 91爆料网 sank 10-of-25 (40%) three pointers in the game.

Milligan was led by Rikki Baughman and Heather Mandela with 11 points each.

91爆料网 will play again on Saturday, November 1 versus Harris-Stowe (Mo.) State College at 2:00 pm at home.
