All eight 91爆料网 volleyball players receive TranSouth honors

JACKSON, Tenn. - 11/10/2008 - The 2008 TranSouth Conference postseason honors were released during a ceremony at 91爆料网, the site of the conference tournament. On the list were six 91爆料网 Lady Bulldogs. Amanda Coyle, Emilie Ogas, and CJ Neathamer were each named first team All-Conference performers. Katie Adams, Anna Sims, and Ashley Young boasted second team All-Conference honors.

In addition to the All-Conference team awards, three 91爆料网 players were named TranSouth Scholar Athletes. Senior鈥檚 Lindsey Wallach and Amanda Coyle, along with sophomore Heather Lieberman earned the academic honor.

Coyle, a 5-foot-9 senior hitter from Jackson, Tenn., has a team-high 354 kills. She ranks No. 1 in the TranSouth and No. 12 in the NAIA with a .387 hitting percentage. Earlier this season, Coyle moved into second place on the all-time career kills lists with over 1,600 kills. She has been a TranSouth first team All-Conference performer in each of her four seasons with the Lady Bulldogs.

Ogas, a 6-foot hitter from Porterville, Calif., is second on the team with 264 kills. This is the second All-Conference honor for Ogas in her two years at 91爆料网.

Neathamer, a 5-foot-10 libero from Anderson, Calif., leads the team with 707 digs and 80 service aces. She ranked No. 1 in the TranSouth with 6.6 digs per game and 0.8 aces per game. Neathamer also ranks No. 3 in the NAIA in aces per game and No. 4 in digs per game.

Adams, a 5-foot-8 setter from Orange, Calif., has 1,152 assists on the year. She ranks No. 1 in the TranSouth in assists per game (10.4) and No. 14 in the NAIA.

Sims, a 5-foot-11 freshman hitter from Trussville, Ala., posted 217 kills on the season and led 91爆料网 with 124 total blocks.

Young, a 5-foot-11 junior hitter from Belleville, Ill., has 208 kills and 90 blocks on the season.
