JACKSON, Tenn. - 12/18/2008 - , a senior at Jackson Christian School, has signed to play his college golf for 91爆料网. Barry will enter 91爆料网 in the fall of 2009 after graduating from JCS next May. He currently has a 4.02 GPA and is taking honors courses and three college credit courses as a senior. During his sports career at JCS, Barry played in three different state tournaments, including golf, baseball, and track.

Barry, at 5-foot-10, 160 lbs., has accumulated numerous honors and awards during this high school golf career. Since eighth grade, Barry has played as the No. 1 golfer at JCS. He has qualified for the region tournament all five years, and has qualified for the state tournament each of the last three seasons. Barry has recorded two top-10 finishes in state tournaments, earning him All-State honors as a junior and senior.
In this, his senior season, Barry posted a second place finish in the District 13 Tournament, helping to lead his team to the district title. He posted a tenth place finish in the state tournament.
As a junior, Barry won the Region 7 A-AA tournament and finished seventh in the state tournament. As a sophomore, he won medalist honors in every regular season match played on the season.
In 2007 and 2008, Barry qualified for the Tennessee Junior State Amateur Tournaments. He also qualified for the TGA Junior Masters Division Tournament of Champions during the same two-year stretch.
While at JCS, Barry played in the Tennessee State Tournaments for three different sports. In addition to his successful golf career, Barry was a member of the 2007 JCS Eagles baseball team that finished runner-up in the state tournament. He led that team with a .440 batting average. Barry also qualified for the Tennessee State Track & Field Championships in 2008. He was named All-District in baseball as a sophomore and region champion and All-State in Track as a junior.
Barry is a member of the National Honor Society and is a candidate for 91爆料网鈥檚 Scholars of Excellence.
Barry is the son of Ron and Jane Barry of Jackson. His twin sister, Becca, attends Trinity Christian Academy.
