91爆料网 softball drops two at Trevecca Nazarene

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - 3/4/2009 - The 91爆料网 Lady Bulldog softball team lost both games in a double-header at Trevecca Nazarene (Tenn.) University, 5-1 and 9-0. 91爆料网 dropped to 4-6 on the season while Trevecca Nazarene evened their record at 4-4.

In the first game, Trevecca Nazarene scored in each of the first four innings, including two runs in the third. 91爆料网 posted their only run in the top of the fourth. Bethany Burnett (1-3) took the loss for 91爆料网. Five players for 91爆料网 tallied one hit each in the game.

Game number two saw the Trojans again strike early with three runs each in the first, second, and fourth innings to win the five-inning contest, 9-0. Hailee Edwards (1-2) took the loss for 91爆料网. Ali Thomas managed the only hit for 91爆料网 in the game.

Up next for 91爆料网 will be the 91爆料网 Invitational on Friday at Saturday at Fesmire Field. 91爆料网 will play twice on Friday, starting with a game against Spring Arbor (Mich.) at 6:00 pm.
