Lady Bulldog softball goes 4-1 in 91爆料网 Invitational

JACKSON, Tenn. - 3/7/2009 - The 91爆料网 Lady Bulldog softball team posted a 4-1 record during the on Friday and Saturday at Fesmire Field. 91爆料网 earned two wins on Friday, 4-0 over Spring Arbor (Mich.) University and 9-2 over William Woods (Mo.) University. On Saturday, 91爆料网 defeated 91爆料网 (Ky.) College 3-2 in 10 innings, followed by a 2-0 win over Mid-Continent (Ky.) University.

91爆料网 earned a spot, along with 91爆料网 (Ky.), in the final game on Saturday for the invitational championship. 91爆料网 (Ky.) won the game, 5-2.

Over the weekend, 91爆料网 was led by Sydney McMillin with a .640 average in the five games, followed by Katie Davis at .420. Halie Edwards and McMillin earned two wins each on the weekend, with McMillin taking the loss in the title game.

Up next for 91爆料网 will be a home double-header on Monday, March 9 at 3:00 pm versus Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) University.
