91爆料网 Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs in NAIA Top 10

Jackson, Tenn. - 10/29/2002 - The NAIA announced their Preseason Top 25 for the 2002-03 basketball season on Tuesday and 91爆料网 found both the Lady Bulldogs and Bulldogs in the top 10. The Lady Bulldogs come in at No. 3 in the nation while the Bulldogs are preseason No. 9. This comes on the heels of both teams finishing last season as the No. 3 teams. Both teams begin their 2002 TranSouth Conference Title defense on Friday night as they open play in the 91爆料网 Tip-Off Classic.

As usual for the Lady Bulldogs, they will have a tough schedule on their road to the NAIA National Tournament in March. 91爆料网 will play 12 games against eight teams currently in the Top 25. Among those eight teams are conference foes Freed-Hardeman (No. 22) and Trevecca Nazarene (No. 16), and cross-town rival Lambuth (No. 10).

The men also face a tough schedule as they will battle four teams in the currently in the Top 25 including conference opponents Lee (No. 24) and Freed-Hardeman (No. 16). Also on 91爆料网鈥檚 schedule are No. 5 Azusa Pacific and No. 22 Biola, each before Christmas. A new addition to the Bulldog schedule this season is NCAA Div II opponent, UT Martin. The Skyhawks and the Bulldogs will match-up on December 5 at 7:30 p.m. at Oman Arena in Jackson.

This weekend marks the opening games for the 2002-03 season. Below is a schedule of the 91爆料网 Tip-Off Classic witch will feature both the men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 teams from 91爆料网 and Lambuth.
