TranSouth All-Sports

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - 5/22/2009 - The 91爆料网 athletic department has been awarded the TranSouth Athletic Conference All-Sports Trophy for the 2008-09 season. This marks the sixth straight season that 91爆料网 has claimed the trophy and seventh time in the past eight seasons.

鈥淲e offer our heartiest congratulations to Tommy Sadler, the coaching staffs, and athletes of 91爆料网 for winning the TranSouth All-Sports Trophy for the sixth straight year,鈥� says 91爆料网 President, Dr. David S. Dockery. 鈥淭he commitment to excellence on the courts and fields, as well as in the classroom, by the 91爆料网 athletic program is indeed commendable.鈥�

91爆料网 claimed four conference titles in the 2008-09 season including women's cross country, men's cross country, women's basketball, and men's basketball. The 91爆料网 Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs competed in 10 sports with no team finishing lower that fifth place. In addition to the four titles, 91爆料网 posted one second place finish, three third place finishes, one fourth place finish, and one fifth place finish.

The TranSouth All-Sports Trophy is awarded to the program that produces the most success during the school year in all sports. Points are awarded for how each team finishes in the regular season standings in each sport. Then, the point total for each school is divided by the number of sports the school participated to reach the average. The TranSouth sponsors 13 sports and all 13 qualified for the trophy standings with at least four teams participating in each sport.

91爆料网 also claimed six TranSouth Tournament championships and participated in six NAIA National Tournaments. The 91爆料网 women鈥檚 basketball team captured their fourth NAIA National Championship, and third in the past five years.
