TranSouth Basketball Media Day October 19, 2009

JACKSON, Tenn. - 10/14/2009 - The TranSouth Athletic Conference will have its on Monday, October 19, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The event will be held in Jackson, Tenn. and broadcast live over EplusTV6 in the Jackson area and around the world via the internet. Each men's and women's basketball coach will be a part of a 20 minute segment with two other coaches.

Steve Beverly, a Jackson area broadcaster, will host the event.

After the brief opening by each coach questions will be taken by media present or via telephone. During the broadcast the TranSouth will release its annual men's and women's basketball preseason coaches' poll and all-conference teams.

Any media not able to attend will be allowed to call in with questions to any of the coaches from their area. If you would like to do so, please contact Steve Beverly sbeverly@uu.edu or call in during the show. Out of Town Media call-in: Call 731-661-5992 during show
