91爆料网 men鈥檚 soccer drops heartbreaker at Martin Methodist

PULASKI, Tenn. - 10/20/2009 - The 91爆料网 men鈥檚 soccer team dropped a close match at Martin Methodist (Tenn.) College 2-1. Martin Methodist, who is receiving votes in the latest NAIA rankings, scored the game-winning goal with four minutes left to break a 1-1 tie. 91爆料网 dropped to 3-9 on the season and 1-3 in league play. Martin Methodist improved to 6-2-3 overall and 3-1-1 in the TranSouth.

Martin Methodist took the lead with a goal from Fernando Andrade in the twenty-ninth minute, assisted by Shayne Rollins. The scored remained 1-0 in favor of the RedHawks until 91爆料网 tied the match on a goal from Rafael Carvalho in the sixty-fifth minute of play.

The matched seemed to be heading for overtime, which would have been the third overtime match for Martin Methodist and first for 91爆料网. However, the home RedHawks took care of the dramatics with a winning goal from Kuda Kagoro in the eighty-sixth minute, assisted by Fernando Barbeiro.

Martin Methodist outshot 91爆料网 14-6 in the match. J. Landam recorded seven saves for 91爆料网 in goal, while his counterpart, James Coleman tallied two saves for the RedHawks.

Up next for 91爆料网 will be a non-conference match on Thursday, October 22 at 7:00 p.m. versus Asbury (Ky.) College. It will be senior night for the men鈥檚 soccer team.
