Former North Side Star Signs With 91爆料网

Jackson, Tenn. - 12/2/2002 - Christina Smith, a former basketball standout for North Side High School will play for 91爆料网 next season. Smith, a 5-foot-11 forward, will transfer in from the University of Alabama-Birmingham.

Smith is a 2000 graduate of North Side High School where she was named to the All-State team. Led by Smith, the Lady Indians earned a spot in the state tournament in Murfreesboro, Tenn. Her senior year, Smith averaged 19 points and 11 rebounds per game.

91爆料网鈥檚 head coach Mark Campbell states, 鈥淐hristina is someone we recruited out of high school but things didn鈥檛 work out.鈥� Campbell goes on to say, 鈥淲e are still extremely excited to have her join us and fill the positions that will be lost when our two seniors graduate this year.鈥�

Smith will join the Lady Bulldogs next fall as a sophomore. 91爆料网 will loose only two seniors this year, Tashekia Brown of Bradford and Allison Harrison of Bartlett.
