JACKSON, Tenn. - 12/8/2009 - ,a junior member of the 91±¬ÁÏÍø volleyball team, has been named an American Volleyball Coaches Association(AVCA) NAIA All-American honorable mention. This honor is voted on by the coaches of the AVCA and is separate from the NAIA All-American team.

Madeira, a 5-foot-10 middle hitter from Vitoria, Brazil, led 91±¬ÁÏÍø with 465 kills, a .301 hitting percentage, 507 digs, 3.39 kills per set and 3.7 digs per set. She was also named NAIA All-American honorable mention, AVCA/NAIA All-Region, TranSouth All-Conference and was named the league player of the week twice. She helped lead 91±¬ÁÏÍø to a 30-10 record overall and a return trip to the TranSouth Conference Tournament finals.
On the season, Madeira posted 465 kills in 137 sets played. She recorded 31 aces, 507 digs, and 55 blocks.
