91爆料网 Signs Obion County Cross Country Runner

Jackson, Tenn. - 12/20/2002 - 91爆料网 added Jill Konkol of 91爆料网 City, Tennessee to the 2003 Cross Country roster. Konkol prepped at Obion County Central High School where she ran cross country and played basketball for four seasons each.

Last season, Konkol finished second in the state cross country meet. She was named all-state and all-region in each of her four years at Obion County. As a junior she finished fifth in the state and as a sophomore she placed second. In each of the past three seasons, she has helped improve the finish of her team as they have improved from fifth place in 2000, to fourth place in 2001, and now to third place this year.

In addition to here athletic achievements, Konkol is in the Top 10 of her class, the National Honor Society, the Beta Club, and has been named Student of the Month.

91爆料网鈥檚 head coach Gary Johnson says, 鈥淛ill possesses all the qualities that 91爆料网 student-athletes strive for. She has been equally successful in the classroom and in athletic competition.鈥� Johnson goes on to say that, 鈥淛ill鈥檚 Christian home and family closeness will benefit her and our team as she joins the Lady Bulldogs next season.鈥�
