NASHVILLE, Tenn. - 1/18/2010 - of the No. 1 ranked 91爆料网 (Tenn.) University Bulldogs has been named the TranSouth Athletic Conference women's basketball Player of the Week for the week ending January 17, 2010. It is the second week in a row for Chan to earn the award.
Chan, a 6-foot-4 junior center from Arange City, Sudan, helped 91爆料网 to a 2-0 week. In the two wins during TranSouth play, Chan averaged 19 points, 8.5 rebounds, and one steal per game. She posted 61 percent (16-25) shooting from the field and 67 percent (6-9) from the free throw line in the two games. Chan scored 15 points while posting five rebounds in 91爆料网's 92-63 win over Lyon (Ark.) College. Her best game was in the 87-63 win at No. 6 Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) University with 23 points and 12 rebounds.
91爆料网 is 17-1 (4-0 TSAC) on the season and has been ranked No. 1 in the NAIA for 30 straight rankings. The win over Lyon pushed 91爆料网鈥檚 home winning streak to 52 straight games. 91爆料网 has also won 39 straight TranSouth regular season games.
