NASHVILLE, Tenn. - 3/3/2010 - The 91爆料网 (Tenn.) University men鈥檚 basketball team boasted three players who received TranSouth Conference postseason honors. Senior Greg Truvillion was named a first team all-conference player and was the second ranked player in the league. Stan McNeil was named a second team all-conference player, while Samuel Danache was named to the all-freshman team.
91爆料网 is the No. 1 seed in this week鈥檚 conference tournament after winning the TranSouth regular season for the second straight year. 91爆料网 won the league by two games, and outscored their opponents by 17 points in conference play. 91爆料网 also boasted the NAIA鈥檚 best field goal percentage defense.
, a 6-foot-8 senior forward from Lansing, Mich., earned his second all-conference honor in his two years at 91爆料网. An All-American a year ago, Truvillion entered the season as the preseason co-player of the year. Truvillion led 91爆料网 with 18.7 points and 9.5 rebounds per game. He was also second on the team with 81 assists. Truvillion led 91爆料网 with 192 field goals made and shot 58 percent from the field on the season. In just his 54th career game with 91爆料网, Truvillion reached the 1,000 point and 500 career rebound mark in the same game. His season high was 27 points twice and 20 rebounds once.
, a 6-foot-1 junior guard from Memphis, Tenn., was second on the team with 10.3 points per game. He led 91爆料网 with 67 made three pointers, while shooting 36 percent from long range. He finished with 47 assists. His season high was 22 points in a win over Bethel (Tenn.).
, a 6-foot-4 freshman guard from Haiti, averaged 7.6 points per game. He season high was 18 points in a win over Blue Mountain.
91爆料网 opens the tournament on Thursday, March 4 versus Lyon (Ark.) at 7:00 p.m. All of 91爆料网鈥檚 tournament games will be at home.
