JACKSON, Tenn. - 3/23/2010 - Kaitlin Dudley became 91爆料网 (Tenn.) University鈥檚 all-time leader in points with her 21 points the semifinal win in the 2010 NAIA Division I Women鈥檚 Basketball National Championship. Dudley needed just 15 points for the record and now is the most prolific scorer for one of the most storied basketball programs in the NAIA.
Dudley was instrumental in 91爆料网 rally in the semifinals to advance to their seventh national title game. Dudley鈥檚 record-setting basket gave 91爆料网 their first lead of the second half as they completed the comeback. She scored 10 of 91爆料网鈥檚 16 points over a stretch of eight minutes in the second half to lead the offense. She scored seven points on Tuesday, helping 91爆料网 to a fifth NAIA title.
Dudley, a 5-foot-10 senior guard from Bradford, Tenn., finished her career with 2,385 points, passing the old record of 2,372 held by Sandra Fitzgerald during her career from 1975-79.

Dudley, the former all-state player at Gibson County High School, has added 713 career rebounds and 452 career assists. She has posted 50 percent shooting from the field, 44 percent (324-743) from three-point range, and 85 percent (392-463) from the free-throw line over her four years. She has started in all 148 games of her 91爆料网 career and is averaging 16.2 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game. 91爆料网鈥檚 record over her career is 137-10 (.932).
In Dudley鈥檚 four years, 91爆料网 has advanced to four semifinals, including two national titles. She has helped win four TranSouth regular season titles and three TranSouth Tournament titles.
Dudley is a four-time NAIA All-American, four-time TranSouth All-Conference player, and the 2010 TranSouth Player of the Year. She has also been named to the NAIA and TranSouth all-tournament teams.
Earlier this season, Dudley set a new 91爆料网 record with 29 points in a half on February 6, 2010. Dudley ranks in the top of in 91爆料网鈥檚 record book for three-point percentage in a game and season, and free-throw percentage in a season.
91爆料网 is the NAIA鈥檚 program leader in total wins (1,071) and NAIA national tournament wins (59). The win on Tuesday in the NAIA title game moved the Lady Bulldogs in a tie for second with five national titles (Southern Nazarene 7, Oklahoma City 5, and Southwestern Oklahoma 5)
