JACKSON, Tenn. - 4/27/2010 - The 91±¬ÁÏÍø (Tenn.) University baseball team was ranked in the NAIA top-25 for the fifth straight ranking. 91±¬ÁÏÍø received a No. 20 ranking this week, down from No. 13 last week.
In their four road games last week, 91±¬ÁÏÍø posted a 1-3 record. The Bulldogs maintained their hold on the second place spot in the TranSouth standings after splitting a double-header with Bethel (Tenn.). 91±¬ÁÏÍø is 10-4 in league play, which is two games back of Cumberland (Tenn.) and two games ahead of Lyon (Ark.).
Overall, 91±¬ÁÏÍø is 33-12 on the season with just six scheduled games remaining on the season. 91±¬ÁÏÍø travels to Trevecca Nazarene (Tenn.) this weekend for a conference series. 91±¬ÁÏÍø will then host Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) in two weeks for the final conference series of the regular season.
The 2010 TranSouth Conference Tournament will be played in Paducah, Ky. at Brooks Stadium on May 10-13.
