91±¬ÁÏÍø baseball, golf teams start play in national tournaments

JACKSON, Tenn. - 5/17/2010 - JACKSON, Tenn. - As the semester winds down, two sports teams at 91±¬ÁÏÍø (Tenn.) University continue play in their outstanding seasons. The 91±¬ÁÏÍø baseball and men's golf teams will begin play in their respective NAIA National Tournament on Tuesday, May 18. The baseball team is ranked No. 18 in the NAIA and received an at-large bid to the NAIA National Championship Opening Round. 91±¬ÁÏÍø (41-15) is a No. 2 seed in the Oklahoma City tournament and will play their first game on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. ().

The men's golf team is ranked No. 30 and received the TranSouth's automatic bid by winning the 2010 TranSouth Golf Championship. 91±¬ÁÏÍø's tee-time will be the first of the day as 91±¬ÁÏÍø, Oklahoma City and California Baptist start at 7:00 a.m. The NAIA Men's Golf National Tournament is being played at the TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill., the home of the PGA's John Deere Classic ().
