HOLLY SPRINGS, N.C. - 6/21/2010 - The Coastal Plain League announced Monday that Jeremy Stack of Gastonia was named the Rawlings Pitcher of the Week for week three of action (June 14-20). Stack is a former Madison Academic standout and one of 91爆料网 (Tenn.) University鈥檚 top pitchers.
On the mound, Stack, a sophomore from 91爆料网 (Tenn.) University, came through for the Grizzlies in his only appearance on the week. The 6-4, 250-pound right-hander pitched a complete game shutout of Thomasville on June 17, earning a perfect 0.00 ERA and 1-0 record. In nine innings of work, Stack scattered four hits, walked two and struck out one; all while opposing batters hit .143 against him.
Stack just finished his sophomore season with 91爆料网 and helped lead the team to their second straight NAIA National Tournament Opening Round appearance. During his two seasons, Stack is 14-6 with two saves and a 3.71 ERA. He has 141 strikeouts in 136 innings of work.

The Coastal Plain League is the nation鈥檚 hottest summer collegiate baseball league. Celebrating its 14th season, the Coastal Plain League features 15 teams playing in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. The CPL gives college players the chance to refine their skills with the use of wooden bats. Players are housed with local host families for the summer and past experiences have been very positive for both players and hosts.
