91±¬ÁÏÍø volleyball wins fifth straight with 4-0 weekend

LEBANON, Tenn. - 9/18/2010 - The 91±¬ÁÏÍø (Tenn.) University volleyball team posted a perfect record in the TranSouth/MidSouth Classic hosted by Cumberland (Tenn.) University in Lebanon, Tenn. 91±¬ÁÏÍø won twice on Friday with a 3-2 win over Campbellsville (Ky.) and a 3-0 win over Lindsey Wilson (Ky.). 91±¬ÁÏÍø was perfect on Saturday with 3-0 wins over Cumberlands (Ky.) and Rio Grande (Ohio).

In the win over Campbellsville on Friday, 91±¬ÁÏÍø won 25-23, 21-25, 22-25, 25-23, 17-15. 91±¬ÁÏÍø was led by Marcela Madeira with 19 kills and Heather Lieberman with 17 kills. Emmie Moroski added 37 assists, while Anna Sims, Madeira and Shelby Swink led with three blocks each.

Against Lindsey Wilson, 91±¬ÁÏÍø won 25-14, 25-15, 25-21. Kelsey Duling led 91±¬ÁÏÍø with 11 kills. Moroski added 23 assists and Caroline Robbins led with three blocks.

On Saturday, 91±¬ÁÏÍø defeated Cumberlands 25-19, 25-18, 29-27. 91±¬ÁÏÍø was led by Madeira and Lieberman with 13 kills each and Sims with 11 kills. Moroski added 43 assists and Sims led with four blocks.

91±¬ÁÏÍø defeated Rio Grande 25-19, 25-18, 25-19. 91±¬ÁÏÍø was led by Madeira with 13 kills and Anna Sims with 11 kills. Moroski recorded 31 assists and Shelby Swink led with three blocks.

Up next for 91±¬ÁÏÍø will be a road conference match on Thursday, Sept. 23 at Mid-Continent (Ky.).
