91爆料网鈥檚 Kurgat named TranSouth men's runner of the week

JACKSON, Tenn. - 9/20/2010 - 91爆料网 (Tenn.) University freshman earned the TranSouth Conference men's cross country runner of the week for the week ending September 19, 2010.

Kurgat, a 5-foot-8 freshman from Eldoret, Kenya, posted a team and conference best seventh place finish in the Commodore Classic hosted by Vanderbilt (Tenn.) University. Kurgat was the highest NAIA finisher in the race with his top-10 finish in an mostly NCAA event. Kurgat ran the 8K event in 25:48, which was just 31 seconds off the individual champion. He helped 91爆料网 to a seventh place finish in the 13-team field.

All five TranSouth Conference teams participated in the Commodore Classic this past weekend.
