91爆料网 volleyball wins three matches in weekend tourney

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio - 10/2/2010 - The 91爆料网 (Tenn.) University volleyball team won three-of-four matches in the Mount Vernon Nazarene Invitational over the weekend. The three wins helped 91爆料网 take runner-up in the tournament. 91爆料网 defeated 91爆料网 (Ky.) 3-0 and Marion (Ind.) 3-1 on Friday. 91爆料网 then topped Roberts Wesleyan (N.Y.) 3-0 before losing to host and NAIA #31 Mount Vernon Nazarene (Oho) 3-2 on Saturday.

91爆料网 Marcela Madeira, Anna Sims and Emmie Moroski were named to the all-tournament team.

Madeira led with 11 kills in the match against 91爆料网 (Ky.). Moroski has 21 assists and Sims led with seven blocks. In the win over Marion, Madeira again led with 13 kills, while Sims and Caroline Robbins added 11 kills each. Moroski tallied 37 assists and Sims led with seven blocks. Against Roberts Wesleyan, Madeira and Sims led with 10 kills, Moroski added 30 assists and Sims led with four blocks. In the loss to Mount Vernon, Madeira led with 20 kills, while Sims and Heather Lieberman added 13 and 12 kills respectively. Moroski tallied 48 assists and Shelby Swink led with six blocks.

91爆料网 extended their winning streak to 10 matches during the tournament before having that streak snapped by Mount Vernon Nazarene. The Lady Bulldogs are 11-4 on the season.

Up next for 91爆料网 will be a road conference match on Tuesday, October 5 at Bethel (Tenn.), followed by a home conference match on Thursday, Oct. 7 versus Trevecca Nazarene (Tenn.) at 7:00 p.m.
