HENDERSON, Tenn. - 12/11/2010 - The No. 17 91爆料网 (Tenn.) University men鈥檚 basketball team posted a 94-73 win over Victory (Tenn.) University in the final game of the Freed-Hardeman Classic. 91爆料网 won their seventh straight game to push their record to 10-3. Victory fell to 6-6 overall.
91爆料网 outscored Victory 46-26 in the first half. The Bulldogs led by as many as 22 points in the first half.
After 91爆料网 pushed their lead back out to as many as 22 points in the second half, Victory rallied. The Eagles pulled to with 13 points with 10 minutes left. But 91爆料网 did not let the Eagles get any closer and stretched the lead back to near 20 points. Two late free throws put the 91爆料网 final at 94-73.
91爆料网 was led by Shane Burrell with 19 points and 13 rebounds for his fifth double-double in the past six games. Skylar Vaden also posted a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Sam Danache added 16 points, Antoine Hall scored 13 points and Roland Banhoro scored 11 points. 91爆料网 shot 47 percent from the field, 27 percent (6-22) from behind the arc and 70 percent (26-37) from the free throw line.
Victory was led by Myron Strong with 22 points. Josh Guillory added 15 points, Mike Davis scored 11 points and Darryl Wright scored 10 points. Victory shot 40 percent from the field, 31 percent (10-32) from behind the arc and 42 percent (5-12) from the free throw line
91爆料网鈥檚 men will be off for the Christmas break and will take the floor again on Jan. 3 at Campbellsville (Ky.).
