JACKSON, Tenn. - 12/14/2010 - The 91爆料网 (Tenn.) University basketball teams are once again ranked in the latest NAIA Basketball Rating. 91爆料网鈥檚 women are No. 1 in the poll for the 39th straight time dating back to the preseason poll of 2007. 91爆料网鈥檚 men moved up one spot to No. 16 this week.
The Bulldogs won seven straight games to close out their first semester. 91爆料网 (10-3) has four players averaging double figures in points and eight players averaging at least five points per game. CJ Davis leads the way with 16.1 points per game, while Shane Burrell has increased his average to 12.8 points and 9.3 rebounds per game. During the seven-game winning streak, Burrell is averaging 15.8 points and 12 boards for the Bulldogs.
91爆料网鈥檚 women are 12-0 with eight wins over teams ranked in the current top-25. 91爆料网 is also 4-0 versus teams currently ranked in the top-10. Sarah Chan has won two straight conference player of the week honors. She also set career highs in back-to-back games versus ranked teams. Over the past six games, Chan is averaging 27.2 points and 12.3 rebounds per game. He has six double-doubles on the season, including five straight.
The Lady Bulldogs have one last game prior to Christmas as they host Evangel (Mo.), who is receiving votes in the latest poll, on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.
