91爆料网 women stay No. 1, men move up to No. 14

JACKSON, Tenn. - 2/15/2011 - The 91爆料网 (Tenn.) University basketball teams are ranked in the latest NAIA polls released on Monday, February 14. Despite suffering their first loss of the season, 91爆料网鈥檚 women remain the No. 1 team in the NAIA for an NAIA record 45 straight polls. The 91爆料网 men moved up two spots to No. 14.

The 91爆料网 Bulldogs now have 21 wins on the season to just five loss. The Bulldogs are 10-2 in the TranSouth, just one game back of the league leader Martin Methodist (Tenn.). 91爆料网 does not hold the tie-breaker over Martin Methodist, so the Bulldogs will need some help if they hope to win a third straight conference regular season title. 91爆料网 still looks to maintain one of the top season in the conference tournament coming up in March.

91爆料网鈥檚 women lost their first game of the season on Saturday, but rebounded on Monday with a win to move to 24-1 on the season. No other NAIA team has fewer that two losses in the NAIA women鈥檚 standings. 91爆料网 (11-1) maintains a one game lead in the conference standings with just four games left to be played in the regular season. 91爆料网 has won each of the past four TranSouth regular season titles. In the 14-year history of the TranSouth, 91爆料网 has won 11 regular season titles and was a co-champion one season.

Up next for the 91爆料网 basketball teams will be a home conference double-header on Thursday, February 17 versus Mid-Continent (Ky.). The women will play at 6:00 p.m. with the men to follow at 8:00 p.m.
