NASHVILLE, Tenn. - 2/21/2011 - of 91爆料网 (Tenn.) University is the TranSouth Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, February 20, 2011.
Bryant, a 5-foot-8 senior guard from Shelbyville, Tenn., tied a 91爆料网 women's record with 10 made three-pointers in the Lady Bulldog鈥檚 82-52 win at Blue Mountain (Miss.). All 10 were in the second half, setting the 91爆料网 record for made three-pointers in a half. Bryant scored 32, a new career-high breaking her personal best of 29 set earlier in the week. Her 32 points was also a new 91爆料网 record for points in a half. Bryant hit 7-of-9 on 10 straight possessions early in the second half.
In 91爆料网's 118-60 win over Mid-Continent (Ky.), Bryant scored a 29 points going 9-of-17 from three-point range. On the week, Bryant averaged 22.3 points and was 21-of-42 (50%) from three-point range. More impressive is that Bryant averages 6.6 points per game. Bryant was 23-for-46 (50%) from the field.
The NAIA No. 1 91爆料网 Lady Bulldogs (26-1) were 3-0 on the week and are a TranSouth best 13-1.
