91爆料网 men鈥檚 soccer signs TCA鈥檚 Pratt

JACKSON, Tenn. - 2/25/2011 - The 91爆料网 (Tenn.) University men鈥檚 soccer team signed Jackson native . Pratt will enter 91爆料网 this fall as a freshman and will study in college with plans on becoming a doctor.

Pratt, a 5-foot-10 forward, played his high school soccer at Trinity Christian Academy in Jackson. Pratt has scored 69 career goals for TCA, including 52 of those goals as a junior. He was the second leading scorer in the state of Tennessee as a junior. Pratt was named all-district, all-region, and was selected as the District 15A-AA Most Valuable Player in 2010. He was also named the 2010 Jackson Sun West Tennessee Offensive Player of the Year.

91爆料网 head coach Clovis Simas says, 鈥淲e are very excited to have Alex joining our program. He is a great soccer player, but his hard work and positive attitude pushes him to get better every day.鈥�

Pratt played club soccer for the state champion Tennessee Rush Club Soccer out of Memphis. Pratt was also a kicker for the TCA football team. He made the game-winning kick to send his team to their first ever football state championship game in 2010.

Pratt is the son of Pepper and Karen Pratt of Jackson and is a member of Englewood Baptist Church.
