91爆料网鈥檚 Thomas named TranSouth Pitcher of the Week

JACKSON, Tenn. - 3/2/2011 - of 91爆料网 (Tenn.) University has been named the TranSouth Conference Pitcher of the Week for the week ending February 27, 2011.

Thomas, a 5-foot-5 sophomore from Huntingdon, Tenn., picked up two wins and a save in three appearances for the Lady Bulldogs. She tossed a one-hit shutout over Blue Mountain (Miss.) College with 12 strikeouts. Thomas also picked up the save in the back end of the double-header against Blue Mountain with two scoreless innings. Thomas added a win over Missouri Baptist later in the week. In the three games, she posted a 0.44 ERA with 21 strikeouts in 16 innings.

91爆料网 is 6-0 on the season and ranked No. 24 in the NAIA.
