JACKSON, Tenn. - 3/31/2011 - The 91爆料网 (Tenn.) University women鈥檚 soccer program has signed of Memphis, Tenn. to a scholarship. Moskovitz will enter 91爆料网 this fall as a freshman and will major in Pre-Med/Biology.
91爆料网 head coach Brandon Boylan says, "We are excited about Whitney joining our program and university. She is a player with great speed and athleticism. We like the versatility she brings to the field. She can excel at a few different positions and we look forward to her four years here at 91爆料网. Whitney comes from a great family and she is a great addition to the university and the soccer program."
Moskovitz, a 5-foot-3 sweeper, prepped at Tipton-Rosemark (Tenn.) Academy where she played one season of soccer. Prior to her year at Tipton-Rosemark, she spent two seasons as a member of the Arlington (Tenn.) High School soccer team. Moskovitz was named the Most Valuable Player and all-district as a senior while scoring 13 goals during the season. Moskovitz played club soccer for the Bartlett Strikers.
Off the field, Moskovitz was a member of the National Honor Society, Beta Club and Make-A-Wish Club. She was also a student council representative.
Moskovitz is the daughter of David Moskovitz and Teresa Leatherman and is a member of The Life Church of Memphis.
