91爆料网 men鈥檚 soccer picked second in TranSouth, receiving votes in NAIA

JACKSON, Tenn. - 8/18/2011 - The 91爆料网 (Tenn.) University men鈥檚 soccer team has been picked to finish third in the . 91爆料网 finished last season with a 13-5-1 overall record while finishing in third place of both the TranSouth regular season and conference tournament.

91爆料网 also received votes in the as they earned 29 votes to put them at No. 32.

91爆料网 has 38 guys on the roster this year, including varsity and junior varsity players. Of those 38 players, 25 are returning after playing either varsity or junior varsity last season. Eleven players are returning that started at least four matches on the varsity team. 91爆料网 will also need to replace four players that started for the 2010 team. 91爆料网 head coach Clovis Simas will use the 13 newcomers to the program to help fill the voids and to build the 2011 Bulldog team.

Ahead of 91爆料网 in the poll was Bethel (Tenn.) in the top spot. Martin Methodist (Tenn.) was tied for second with 91爆料网, Mid-Continent (Ky.) was picked fourth, Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) fifth, Lyon (Ark.) sixth and Cumberland (Tenn.) seventh.

91爆料网 will begin play on Tuesday, August 23 with a home exhibition match versus Wallace State (Ala.) Community College. 91爆料网鈥檚 first regular season game will be a road contest at Southern Polytechnic State (Ga.) on August 27. 91爆料网鈥檚 home opener will be Friday, September 2 versus Reinhardt (Ga.) as they begin play in the 91爆料网 Soccer Classic.
