BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - 10/22/2011 - The 91爆料网 (Tenn.) University women鈥檚 soccer team won 4-0 at 91爆料网 (Ky.) College Saturday in a battle of two sets of 91爆料网 Lady Bulldogs. The 91爆料网 (Tenn.) Lady Bulldogs improved to 8-2-2 on the season, while the 91爆料网 (Ky.) Lady Bulldogs dropped to 8-6 overall.
91爆料网 (Tenn.) did not waste any time in scoring their first goal. Eboni Murphy scored just 51 seconds into the match for the 1-0 lead. Christina Reardon and Steffi King recorded the assist on what proved to be the game-winning goal. After the quick goal, 91爆料网 (Tenn.) did not score again until the 59th minute. Rebecca McDounough scored on a free kick to put 91爆料网 (Tenn.) up 2-0. 91爆料网 (Tenn.) added two late goals in the 78th and 80th minutes by Alex Taylor and Teriliyn Wassell respectively. Sara Weir and Bethany Stiles recorded assist on the final two goals.
91爆料网 (Tenn.) outshot 91爆料网 (Ky.) 14-11 in the match, including 10-7 in shots on goal. Emily Warren recorded seven saves in the match, recording her sixth shutout on the season and third in the past four matches. 91爆料网 (Ky.) goalies Stephanie Burton (4) and Kaitie Crawford (2) recorded a combined six saves in the match, both allowing two goals.
Up next for 91爆料网 will be a road conference match at Cumberland (Tenn.) University, Saturday, Oct. 25.
