91爆料网鈥檚 Hughes named top volleyball freshman, four honored by TranSouth

PULASKI, Tenn. - 11/8/2011 - The TranSouth Conference released their 2011 Postseason Awards with 91爆料网 being well represented. Freshman Savannah Hughes was named the TranSouth Freshman of the Year. 91爆料网 also put four players on the all-conference teams.

Seniors Anna Sims and Emmie Moroski joined Hughes on the first team TranSouth All-Conference list. Junior Amanda Deem was named as an honorable mentioned all-conference.

Hughes, from Jonesboro, Ark., leads 91爆料网 with 294 kills on the season as a freshman. Sims, a native of Trussville, Ala., is second on 91爆料网鈥檚 team with 237 kills and leads the way with 96 blocks. Sims recently broke the 91爆料网 record for career kills with 548 blocks in her four seasons. She also passed the 1,000 career kills milestone this season. Moroski, of Davis, Calif., leads 91爆料网 with 906 assists and passed the 2,000 career assists milestone in just two seasons at 91爆料网. Deem, from Pearland, Texas, leads the Lady Bulldogs with 341 digs in her first season at 91爆料网.
