91±¬ÁÏÍø women basketball back at No. 2, men receive votes

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - 2/13/2012 - The 91±¬ÁÏÍø basketball teams continue to be listed among the best in the NAIA with the latest release of the national rankings. The 91±¬ÁÏÍø women return to the No. 2 spot, matching their highest ranking of the season. The 91±¬ÁÏÍø men dropped in the receiving votes section, but keep 18 votes to be listed in the 31nd spot.

The 91±¬ÁÏÍø women are coming off a win over No. 3 Freed-Hardeman 48-44 last Saturday. It was the eighth straight win for 91±¬ÁÏÍø and the 36th straight home victory. 91±¬ÁÏÍø is currently 6-2 versus teams ranked in the top-25. 91±¬ÁÏÍø is 3-2 versus teams ranked in the top-5. 91±¬ÁÏ꿉۪s only two losses have come to No. 1 Oklahoma City and No. 3 Freed-Hardeman. 91±¬ÁÏÍø has also beaten No. 3 FHU, and is the only team to beat No. 4 Lee and No. 5 Cumberlands (Ky.) on the season to this point. 91±¬ÁÏÍø 4-0 versus teams currently in the receiving votes category.

The men have lost three of their last five games after winning a season high six in a row. The Bulldogs have slipped to No. 2 in the TranSouth. The Bulldogs are 0-4 versus teams currently in the top-25. 91±¬ÁÏÍø is 2-3 versus teams in the receiving votes section.
