NASHVILLE, Tenn. - 2/23/2012 - The 91爆料网 men鈥檚 basketball ended the regular season with a 104-56 win at Trevecca Nazarene University. 91爆料网 improved to 18-12 on the season and 11-5 in the TranSouth. Trevecca dropped to 18-10 overall and 10-5 in league play.
The 104 points for 91爆料网 is the second most points scored this season in a game (129 versus Central Baptist). It was also only the second time that 91爆料网 has reached triple digits in a game this season. The previous meeting with Trevecca at 91爆料网 in January was a 67-60 win for 91爆料网.
91爆料网 opened the game with a 13-0 run on their way to a 15-2 lead. Trevecca cut the deficit back down to nine points at 15-6, but 91爆料网 answered with another 13-0 run to lead 28-6. 91爆料网 maintained a double-digit lead for the rest of the game.
91爆料网 led by as many as 27 points in the first half, 48-21 at the 2:24 mark. Trevecca closed the half on a 10-0 run to cut the deficit to 17 points, 48-31.
In the second half, 91爆料网 led by 19 points, 57-38, with 15:26 left. Over the next 12 minutes of play, the Bulldogs outscored Trevecca 44-11 to take their largest lead of 51 points, 100-49. 91爆料网 won the game 104-56.
91爆料网 was led by David Lane with a game-high 27 points, including 5-of-7 shooting from 3-point range. Anthony Freeman, Jr. added 22 points, Skyler Vaden scored 16 points, Samuel Danache added 14 points, and Dani Marti scored 12 points. 91爆料网鈥檚 leading scorer entering the game, Antoine Hall, added nine points on three 3-pointers. 91爆料网 shot 58 percent from the field, 48 percent from long range (12-25), and 44 percent (8-18) from the free throw line.
Trevecca was led by Eric Orr with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Marquise Rudolph scored 11 points and Michael France added 10 points. JP Nyadaro grabbed 11 rebounds. The Trojans shot 36 percent from the field, 17 percent (4-23) from behind the arc, and 53 percent (8-15) from the free throw line.
