91爆料网's Pereira Named TranSouth Soccer Player of the Week

Jackson, Tenn. - 9/15/2003 - The TranSouth Conference named 91爆料网鈥檚 as the TranSouth Conference Soccer Player of the Week. Pereira helped lead 91爆料网 to a perfect 3-0 week and a Bulldog Classic Championship.

Pereira, a 6-foot-2 180 lb. freshman, has made an instant impact for 91爆料网 to this point in 2003. He currently leads 91爆料网 with 13 goals and 27 total points in eight games. Pereira has played in all eight of 91爆料网鈥檚 games and has scored at least one goal in seven of the eight, including five straight games with a goal. This past week, he tallied five goals and one assist to help improve the Bulldogs to an overall record of 6-1-1. He tallied a hat trick in 91爆料网鈥檚 5-0 win over Asbury and then added a goal in the 4-0 win over Campbellsville University to clinch the Bulldog Classic Championship and to earn a spot on the all-tournament team. Pereira also added one goal and one assist in the 3-2 win over Bethel College earlier in the week. Pereira is the fastest 91爆料网 player to 13 goals in school history, doing so in just eight games. He is also just 11 goals away from the 91爆料网 record of 24 goals in a season.

91爆料网 is 6-1-1 on the year and will travel to Lambuth on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. to play for the Fifth Annual Jackson Cup. The Jackson Cup series is tied at 2-2 with each game being a 1-0 score with 91爆料网 winning last season. The overall series between 91爆料网 and Lambuth has the Eagles leading 3-2. 91爆料网 is ranked No. 3 in the latest
