JACKSON, Tenn. - 1/13/2005 - The 91±¬ÁÏÍø Lady Bulldogs survived a scare in a 71-60 win over Campbellsville University (Ky.) on Thursday. 91±¬ÁÏÍø, ranked No. 1 in the nation, improved to 15-0 while Campbellsville falls to 7-9.
91±¬ÁÏÍø led 42-32 at halftime and held on as Campbellsville rallied back to cut the lead five points with about five minutes remaining in the game. 91±¬ÁÏÍø scored just 29 points in the second half. 91±¬ÁÏÍø made 7-of-8 free throws in the second half to seal the win.
The Lady Bulldogs were led once again by Stephanie Clark with her NAIA leading 12th double-double of the year with 28 points and 11 rebounds. Jennifer Henson tallied 14 for 91±¬ÁÏÍø.
Campbellsville was led by Tiffany Roaden with 28 points and Miranda Ray with 10 points.
Up next for 91±¬ÁÏÍø will be a 2:00 pm home game versus Arkansas Baptist on Saturday, Jan. 15.
